Perhaps I should add that I have myself had many bad experiences in
trying to "channel a small amount of time" into a project. For me,
this has never worked out. In fact, I consider that kind of talk to
be a warning sign not to get involved. The more desperate the plea,
the more likely there is doom ahead.
I guess this brings us to the two main paradigms for OS development.
1: it is done by a loosely knit team with someone who can don the leader
cap.
2: it is done by a solo developer burning the candle at both ends
because they have something they really need to get done.
Either way it's the output produced that gets the respect.

Apparently upon the beginning of the barrage, the donkey broke
discipline and panicked, toppling the cart. At that point, the rockets
disconnected from the timer, leaving them strewn around the street.
Tethered to the now toppled cart, the donkey was unable to escape before
the arrival of U.S. troops.
