Hi
I'd like to play azr-3 from my usb midi keyboard. However in qjackctl
the keyboard shows up as alsa midi and azr-3 shows up as jack midi (as
far as I understand it).
How do I go about this? I seem to remember some solution that let's alsa
mide show up as jack midi or the other way around. But I couldn't even
dig it out from google.
Any help appreciated, thanks in advance.
make sure you either
(a) run the ALSA backend's JACK/ALSA bridge (-X seq on the command
line, or lower left
corner of qjackct's setup dialog)
There is no such option -X on jackd! I'm running 0.116.1
(b) run a bridge client such as a2jmidid
I tried it, and had terrible stuck-notes problems. Instead I've been using a
slightly-hacked alsaseq2jackmidi daemon for years with decent results.
