Hi all,
A timer in a window that counts up in seconds, clicking on it resets the time
back to 0. for seeing how much time you've got left during a live gig...
Requires python,tkinter

self.widget=Button(master,text="0:0",font=("Courier",50,"bold"),relief=FLAT,command=self.reset)
Replace "0:0" with " 0:00"
and this:
self.widget.config(text=str(thistime/60)+":"+str(thistime%60))
with
self.widget.config(text="%2d:%02d" % (thistime / 60, thistime % 60))

Of course, you can always try to use RTMix which has plenty uses for timers,
supplies fully customizable metronome, as well as various visual warnings.
It is exactly designed for this purpose, but may be an overkill if your only
need is to have a stopwatch.

The app is rather stable and comes with plenty of example scripts but can be
also used as the most basic stop-watch with zero-config, it also supports

downloadable as a Planet CCRMA rpm (Fedora), Eastman's Turnkey (Mandrake)
rpm, as well as source from my website.

ah - if you've pasted it from your email, check the intenting is either all
spaces or all tabs... I think it's that.

You are probablky missing Tkinter, which lets python use tk.
It might be a separate package on some distros.
