Hello all,
*** Latest news from Parma ***
Joern N. has been here the past few days to get
the streaming running and things look really good.
We should have high-resolution and stable streaming,
better than ever before.
The streaming server homepage is at
http://lac.stackingdwarves.net
(IP 78.47.233.27, both on port 80 an 8000/tcp)
There are two LAC chatrooms at irc.freenode.net:
#lac2009 for discussions about the current paper/concert
#lac2009-piazza for off-topic discussions and socializing.
Remote participants are advised to join the first. They will
then be able to take part in the Q&A session at the end of
each presentation.

Does anyone know where the video streams of the lectures are being
archived? I missed the first day sessions and would like to catch up.

Last year, I think the videos weren't edited, tagged, & uploaded for
archiving until some days after the event. Probably the same this
year. The irc channel, #lac2009, on the irc.freenode.net was dead last
time I cchecked. Maybe ask there when Europe wakes up in 5 or 6 hours.
Thanks for reminding me on this.
Or did you mean, LAC2009, the Ladies Activity Club? Unfortunately, I
think we'll all have to wait for the DVD. :)

I asked the same question on irc (#lac2009-piazza, irc.freenode.net)
yesterday. "nettings" kindly replied:
