Hi
Those who been interested could found a monophonic audio2midi LV2 plug
now in the guitarix git repository.
It is included in the gxtuner.lv2 plug now.
I have already a lot of fun driving calf monosynth with my guitar. :-D

Played around with it too but it didn't help that the guitar I was using
is badly intonated ;) So I got a lot of wrong notes. Would it be
possible to add something like an autotuner in the vain of zita-at1
where you can set the notes you want gxtuner to output?

That sounds like a good idea to me, providing a list with "allowed
notes" and a range from were to snap in. I will work that out. :-)

That makes the midi output a way cleaner.

Cool, cool. I just picked up the guitar I'm going to use at LAC2013 from
my guitar repair guy so it's well intonated again. I'm currently
rebuilding the whole LV2 stack and if that's done I'll rebuild guitarix
from git too.

Hi Bill,
It's a shortscale so hopefully I can take it with me in the cabin. I'm
flying with Lufthansa and a few years ago I could take my (acoustic)
guitar with me in the cabin too on a Lufthansa flight. Otherwise,
bummer, I'm not taking any of my precious vintage guitars with me but a
$150 worth piece of plastic.

Looks like I need to build the LV2 stack as well on my own, to be able
to use the lv2:CVPort extension. The freeze in debian seems to me like a
never ending story now, and debian/sid slips slowly into a outdated
state. I also didn't help to enable the experimental repo, (last jalv
version in experimental is 1.2.0).:-(
