I reinstalled my system and now got problems with
jack.
I'm using a 2.6.31.12 kernel with RT patch.
Configured it like my old 2.6.27 RT kernel(which ran fine).
Is there anything new I have to keep an eye on?
I got xruns using both jack-118 and jack-1.9.5
Recent Jack (from 0.118) removes the -R option,
realtime is now the default and disabled with -r.
Depending on how you start Jack this may affect you.
I had a similar problem today with a qjackctl that
uses the new syntax and a Jack (0.116) that doesn't
understand it. Apparently there was no compatible
Jack available this morning. Where did you get 0.118 ?
Ciao,
From gentoo pro-audio overlay.
Also tried 1.9.5 and current cvs for jack(not dmp), it's the same
everywhere.
But in 1.9.5 I get a more detailed message:
JackAudioDriver::ProcessAsync: read error, skip cycle
JackPosixMutex::Unlock res = 1
Will try without group scheduling now.
