I did it sometime ago on the desktop and it worked and I've come to like
Cadence there. I wanted to put Cadence on my main system, the laptop.
I run Debian Testing on both systems.
I installed the DEB files the KXStudio site says to download and install
to enable the KXStudio repositories. I did an apt-get clean and update,
and the terminal shows these messages:

Reading package lists... Done
W: Skipping acquire of configured file 'non-free/i18n/Translation-en_US'
as repository 'http://kxstudio.linuxaudio.org/repo gcc5 InRelease'
doesn't have the component 'non-free' (component misspelt in sources.list?)
So is there something messed up at the KXStudio end?
Either way, attempting to apt-get install Cadence reports unable to
locate package. Searching for it in Synaptic also doesn't find it.
Also, due to Ubuntu's decision to be 'different' from Debian, I'm not
sure what Ubuntu version corresponds with Debian Testing.
Ideas?
Thanks.
