This was previously a problem as they had only released 32 bit version
of latest flash player. Today, a 64 bit one became available:

To install, tar xvzf and then

*Very* interesting. They had a 64-bit Linux beta out for a while,
then they pulled it and it seemed like the project was dead in the
water. Apparently not!

Who knows, maybe someone figured out a way to 'sploit flash, and
combine it with this

so Adobe pulled it until they could fix the flash part. :-)
I for one didn't like running the pulled-by-adobe 64 bit flash
binaries long after their time was up, so i'm glad to finally update.

I used to use the 64 bit Adobe flash plugin, but when they yanked
it, I started using Gnash (version 0.8.8 in Debian Testing).
The Gnash plugin works for Youtube (one of the main valid uses
for Flash) but doesn't work with Vimeo and a couple of others.
The Gnash CPU load is a bit higher that the Flash plugin but I
use it with the FlashBlock firefox plugin:

so that is rarely a problem. The FlashBlock plugin also has the
advantage of disabling all that crappy Flash web advertising. For
any Flash object on a page I actually want to watch I can re-enable
just by clicking on it.

Have you looked at the TACO (Targetted Adfvertising Cookie Opt-out)

I think flash's days are numbered. Once HTML5 video usage gets
standardized, and perhaps even before (due to proliferation of
flash-incompatible handhelds/tablets/etc), there will be almost no
reason to be using flash for watching streaming media.
To bridge the gap, there are a variety of "compatibility layers" that
will display in HTML5, if capable, otherwise, dropping back to using
flash, such as:

Works here for me. aptosid 64-bit with the new 64-bit Flash Player in
Iceweasel.
I just had to listen to the new Panda Bear track, and bookmarked the
page. :-)
