Hi all,
Simple question - Is there a little tool for capturing an incoming midi stream
in realtime and saving it to disk as a midi file?
Or is the best way to do this recording into rosegarden or muse?

newer versions of alsa-utils come with arecordmidi.
I think that is what you're looking for.
