Best bet is to find one in your local music store and try it out with a
laptop in the store. It _should_ just work because no OSx driver mean USB
class2.0 compliant.

The Lexicon interfaces are indeed class compliant, just connect to your
machine and start using.

Absence of phantom power is the point, depending of the like you mike to
use with it. Lexicon is a nice provider of audio components.
