 I use AdBlockerPlus in my Firefox but I have whitelisted Googlemail
 because,
 as a result of their well targeted advertising, I have found at least
 two
 extremely useful learning web sites in the past year.

The add-on CustomizeGoogle also is very nice, currently I'm using no
add-on.

You're right, perhaps it's too OT now. We might stop it.
