Hi Guys,
My mic does not work in HP laptop. Hence I'm not able to use Skype at
all. Alsamixer does not have the option mic in it. However I'm able to
run audacity and record audio.

Could be a regression in ALSA. On my R51 the mic worked perfectly
as long as it ran SuSE 10.0. It stopped working when I installed
F7 a month ago.
