Hi All,
I thought I'd let you know about some synthesizers I converted to LV2
plugins.
"50m30n3" wrote a few synthesizers using Jack. There is a "Feedback Drone
Synthesizer" (http://d00m.org/~someone/so666/), a Piano Synthesizer (
http://d00m.org/~someone/sokl5/), and a Bassline Synthesizer (
http://d00m.org/~someone/so404/)
I've converted them to LV2 plugins and added Debian packaging. You can find
the ports here: https://github.com/jeremysalwen/So-synth-LV2
I remember that recently someone was complaining about the lack of virtual
instruments for LV2, so these should help add to the bunch.

It's the only synth out of the three I can't get any sound from. Tried
Qtractor and Ardour 3.

Same here, tested with Zynjacku.

Actually, just download the master branch, and run dpkg-buildpackage to get
an Ubuntu package. The Debian/1-1 tag was just something I created when
experimenting with debian packaging tools.

Eventually they will be provided as binaries in ArchAudio repo.
I've just added them.
What you can do now is to clone the repo and do:
cd /path/to/PKGBUILD
makepkg -s
sudo pacman -U name-of-the-package
That's all, really.

mentioned on reddit.com, and I'm really glad you took the time to do
this.
this feedback drone synth is causing nightmares in my house - this
thing is seriously fucked up. should be fun! :)

Yeah I love it too. Caught myself sitting on the couch frozen for half
an hour with a constant drone playing. Very inspirational stuff.
