Hello again,
Iam the guy with the Midi-keyboard!! I've heared that some MIDI-keyboards don't
send a note-off event, so they just send another note-on event. I don't know if mine
is such a stupid midi-keyboard, so maybe some guys at lau know it:

Well, I wouldn't know... it probably is....
Though about the stupidness, I learned just a while ago that this isn't stupid
at all. It's an extension of the MIDI specification that are used by a lot of
equipment. Reason being that the MIDI protocol is quite slow and sending
note-on is faster. It's called running-status.

Huh? A note-on with velocity zero is equivalent to a note off, according to
MIDI 1.0. I don't know of any MIDI keyboard that actually transmits $8x's.
