I tend to agree with you. No Linux softsynth fully implements all
MIDI codes at the moment! Then how can one expect support of an even
bigger standard?
XAP is (well, probably will be) considerably simpler than MIDI, it isn't
constrianed to low powered hardawre and doesn't have years of kludges
applied to it.
