Excerpts from Philippe Hezaine's message of Sun Jan 24 23:04:46 +0100 2010:
Am I right if I say you could install gvim *without*
gnome?
At least its like that on my Gentoo.
In this case g means GUI and his dependencies are GTK+ or Motif.
I need a confirmation.
Confirmed on Arch Linux.
Depends On : vim>=7.2.266 python libxt desktop-file-utils gtk2
When I attempt to install it doesn't try to pull anything besides gvim on my
machine, so it's fine.
