Hello,
What is the cheapest solution to get multiple line-inputs to my Audigy I
card? Apart from an external mixer panel I can't find any. Suggestions?
I need at least three sources to connect to the line-in on the Audigy.

Hello,
there are two possibilities: Buy another soundcard or get an external
mixer. The cheapest external mixers would be the products of Behringer.
What about that: http://behringer.de/502/index.cfm?lang=ENG ?
Or you can buy a new soundcard. Normally you can use several soundcards
in one system.

You should be able to use the line and mic in as separate stereo inputs,
if you need more than that you need to get a new soundcard or connect a
LiveDrive.

JACK with the hw:0,2 capture device then run meterbridge and connect it
to all 16 channels the signals should appear on 4 independent ports
(it's hard to say which 4 due to variation in hardware). What happens
if you try this? Do the CDIN and AUX appear mixed on the same 2
channels, or does one of the signals not appear?

Thanks for the help, but first I need to build some other cables to test
the inputs, and I'm pretty busy at the moment.
I'll try it, sooner or later...
