Other than that, no way out because this is an inherent issue of the Linux
kernel. You might try using jack output for those apps, and in realtime,
because then they would have the front seats :)
I have found, multiple issues related to CPU scheduling were fixed in kernel
2.6.31.3. IIRC, the problem arised approximately when I upgraded the system to
2.6.31.2, so, I hope, 2.6.31.3 will cure the issue.
