FWIW, for me, nothing happens. Kernel reports USB device connecting but Alsa
creates no devices.
Okay, "lsusb -v" please ...
Actually, I stand corrected. UA-1EX works fine in advanced mode but its
newer rebranded version UA-1G (under Cakewalk/Roland brand see:
http://www.cakewalk.com/products/UAUM/UA1G.asp) does not (it is
essentially identical hardware with a different USB device ID/name. So,
UA-1G does work in a normal non-advanced mode but it does not in the
advanced mode.
Attached is the lsusb -v for UA-1G in normal and advanced modes.
We'll send you the UA-101 info next. Please note that UA-101 does not
have 7 SR modes nor normal/advanced modes (see:
http://www.citraintirama.com/admin/product/428958Edirol%20UA-101.jpg).
It is like FA-101 and thus has only 5 sampling rates, 44.1, 48, 88.2,
96, and 192KHz.
Best wishes,
Ico
