  Hi,
Any ideas how to get Freecycle working with Ubuntu or Debian?
Built from repos; I can't get any sound. I've seen an unresolved
post where someone got no sound with Jack, and Freecycle is
reported to not work with the latest version of Alsa, (I tried
it with Jack 0.109 without success -- didn't show up in Jack).
The display works fine; functionally it seems ok apart from
 jack-all sound.
Would really love to use this as it seems to have some great
features not available elsewhere, and wot I need.
 God Bless
 Jonty

i have same problem on a debian (sid) machine, with source package
 and deb file.
i reported a bug to mantainer and developer but not answer.
 ciao
 Luigi

Last time I tried it was on Gutsy, compiled, and it worked. Now on
hardy I also get a: "Oh, anyways we need no sound..Aren't we?"
Is it compiled without sound or something? There's no -h or --help and
the manpage doesn't tell anything about parameters, or anything at
 all.
 ciao,
        Philipp
same thing.
in qjackctl's connection page there isn't anything about freecycle;
only with alsa (without jack) simply i can't hear anything.
