Hey there Linuxy-audio types,
My band's doing some touring this summer from May 24

I'll be there. Let me know if you need a place to camp
out while in Mosquitoapolis. We've got a real cheap
couch rate--you buy the beer. If you need a sound
person let me know. Or, maybe we should record the
show.
and I'm thinking about how
I want to
spend my summer when I get back. I'm currently a
second-semester
sophomore at Oberlin College, studying a variety of
topics
relating to electronic music(esp. with open-source
tools), jazz
bass, math, physics, film/theatre sound design and
studio
recording(in alphebetical order). Does anyone know
of any
internship options available in these fields?
You're always welcome back here. I had to consol Bill
when you left. He cried so much it made my mascara
run.
I
spent several
weeks this January in Ron Parker's Linux-based
studio in
Minneapolis, and had a great time, so I thought it'd
be great to
get some more experience in the Linux audio world.
I hope someone hooks you up. It was definitely a great
experience. And one that I'd be happy to repeat for
anyone that's interested.
Likes:
walking around the lakes
little puppy dogs
kitty cats
cigarettes, coffee
complex linux audio challanges
etc
Dislikes:
cleaning dog turds
finding cat turds in my clean laundry
paying for cigarettes
having my feelings hurt by mean girls
segfaults

Location isn't
super-important, as I'm pretty mobile, and can come
to you.
thanks a lot,
spencer
