So, I have this HDSP/Multiface and all the Alsa drivers I could want, but when I use mplayer for anything I may as well be watching a rice krispies commercial. The video is fine when the sound is off, but if the sound is on, the video and audio both jump and snap and crackle. I turn it off before it gets to pop... is there anything special I can do? Do I need to recompile mplayer with or without some special flag, or is there some option I can simply run when I bring up the program? Thanks, Matt
