One thing I noticed is that jackdmp seems to require more memory.
Some apps fail with cryptic error messages such as 'Unidentified
exception' when an allocation fails, some may go on and just
crash for mysterious reasons. I had this with LinuxSampler when
switching from jack to jackdmp, and increasing the memlock limit
solved the problem.
