Hi,
At the moment I'm trying to bind my bcr2000 to amsynth. Midi learn works
fine so far and I understand that I need to save a preset in the
bcr2000, but when I reconnect amsynth, the binding doesn't work anymore,
so I guess I also have to save and load something in amsynth?
Anyone experience with a hardware midi controller (maybe even the
bcr200) and AMS? Does that work ok?

I don't know the exact answer for amSynth and can't try atm.
In the case of AMS, Midi bindings can be accessed via the
menu 'View' -> 'Control Center...' (regardless of the hardware
used) and get saved with the patch files.

I haven't tried a recent version of amSynth but in the past it always
automatically loaded the midi bindings for me. They should be stored in the
.amSynthControllersrc file in your home directory, so you can check if they
are being stored there I guess.

OK strange. Just checked with a recent version and the parameter names are
being stored, but not the controller assignments themselves, so all
assigned controls are set to CC0 whenever amsynth loads.

And it seems the latest version of PHASEX also killed midi learn :(
