New subject: [linux-audio-user] Digital Audio Labs card

That's unfortunate but par for the course for some manufactures.  Is there
an RME option that has s/pdif in/out only?

 don't hold your breath! i did for a few years, but finally just decided
 to jump to RME -- i don't think it's going to happen.
