Hi,
Going on holiday to Prague/ Tjech Republic. I would like to experiment a bit
with filming and stuff. Any suggestions for a real cheapo camera? (I take my
bike with me, so it would be nice if I could make a 'filming while biking
construction' ;) )

I don't know what's "cheapo" for you, but I can recommend the Samsung
SC-D382. I bought an "open box" unit for $99US, it has a Firewire port
that works perfectly with apps like dvgrab, Kino, and LiVES.

Check eBay and Google Shopping for your area. Also check to see if
there's anything like Pricewatch (pricewatch.com) for Europe.
That's how I found mine, it was listed on Pricewatch.

I got the cheapest Samsung miniDV camera available and it works fine with Linux.
Picture quality not great but you get what you pay for ;)
