Finally it is here, MusE 1.0
[Introduction]
This is not the beginning, nor the end, but it marks the
culmination of 10 years of feature packed and bug ridden
development towards the goal of making a good
platform for creating music on the Linux platform

Okay, there has been recent (probably too recent) changes in this
area, it could be a bug, though it works fine here.

There are no immediate plans to move, Qt3 should be around in distros
yet for a few years. But eventually we will move. Not the least,
there's stuff in Qt4 that would be nice to use. :)

problem there. I've set it correctly but ./configure fails every time,

If `qmake -version` yields the Qt3 version... then maybe
try:
$ for N in qmake moc uic rcc ; do sudo update-alternatives --config $N ; done
...and set them all to use the Qt4 versions.

The Qt detection has been the same for ages so I hope it works still.
As someone mentioned, MusE uses Qt3 still, so it's
export QTDIR=/usr/share/qt3
Be sure to have the devel packages for libqt3-mt installed too.
