Hi!
Seeing how 55 of 154 emails for May so far are from Ralf, I'd like to
propose a name change for this list from "linux-audio-user" to "ralf"
(I
considered "linux-audio-ralf", but thinking back, that's too limited in
scope).

Your MUA should provide several methods for filtering. Don't forget to
filter out replies to Ralf's verbal diarrhea.

Next time when I notice that something important as rtirq doesn't work
anymore, I'll be quiet. Sorry, that I informed about that. I'll stop my
useless mails, since Thorsten and Flo will take care about this and
inform about such minor issue immediately.
I suspect you both did audio work with broken IRQ handling or you fixed
it on your machines and didn't inform the community.

They do. You're just not patient enough.
Please, before sending your next email: wait 10 mins. Do what you
usually do and then add the PS to the same email instead of sending
another. Maybe wait another hour, re-read the question and rewrite your
answer in the same email instead of sending 5 or more emails per day.
That's bad netiquette. You are being very rude - probably without
intending to be.

I tend to agree. Don't hold back (but do write something more than 1
line per email).
To anyone who has a complaint (legitimate or not), you should know
that nobody reads the whole list. It's not wrong for you to filter or
just ignore some of the posts, but the mailing list itself is not the
place to discuss that. If you have a problem with mailing lists--try
to find a solution without bothering anyone else.
