Hey all,
I'm trying to get the reverb/chorus effects working on the above
versions of Qsynth/fluidsynth and the Fluid soundfont, but turning
them on and fiddling with the parameters yields no noticable change in
the sound. Are the effects bugged or am I just Doing It Wrong?

Maybe it's not the same for you, but as far as I remember, for effects to work in
fluidsynth,
the soundfont file has to have them enabled.
Try with different soundfont, maybe you have some soundfonts with working effects.
