This screencast shows two programs running together: vmpk and musescore
(
http://musescore.org)
How to get the staff notation?
Musescore shows the staff notation, and is the program playing the piece. The
MIDI output of musescore can be connected to the input of vmpk (for instance,
using qjackctl). The other way around (note entry from vmpk into musescore) is
possible as well:

Is there any other better app to teach music ie
notation to keyboard
mapping?
There are several programs related to music notation in addition to musescore,
among others:
Rosegarden (

Noteedit (
