I just upgraded to kernel 3.0 on my arch laptop.

Does others have similar positive experiences?
Also, does anyone have any experiences to share about the 3.0-rt
kernel releases? I've heard about crashes, and haven't dared try it
out yet. Is the rt patchset even needed anymore?

I run 3.0.1-rt8 32bit (on debian)
and it run stable for me. The versions
before -rt8 didn't run very well on 32 bit, at least for me. I cant
compare -rt8 with a mainline 3.0er, because I never run one. compared to
the 2.39.7er, witch is the only non rt kernel I have run the last years,
it looks to me that I can run rt8 with a higher CPU load without receive
Xruns, but that isn't a test-case in any means, it's just a feeling. :-)
