Hi all
I couldn't find any documentation which describes binding MIDI keys/CC's
with plugin parameters/bypass in JACK Rack.
Can anyone explain how it's done (I assume it's implemented since it
does have an ALSASeq port)? Does anyone have any experience they'd like
to relate when using it with a control surface (I'm seriously
considering the Behringer BCR2000)?

Unless it is recently implemented (last 6 mths) I was not aware
Jack-Rack had this capability. I used Alsa Modular synth which has
comprehensive and flexible Midi CC's, etc.

Jack-Rack had this capability. I used Alsa Modular synth which has

It is implemented, and my jack-rack is very old :)
Sadly AMS doesn't quite fit my needs - there is code in AMS to manage a
"bumpless" transfer between the control surface and it's view of
parameters which would break 'patch changes' :(
Any suggestions for a guitar rack which can manage multiple presets
(preferable via footswitch)?

Right-Click on a LADSPA control slider. Then a dialog will pop up, where
you can specify the details. But i find the possibilities a bit lacking.
Especially it's not possible to specify a range. A normal midi CC with
only 127 steps is a bit rough to cover the whole range of some
controls.

It would, as would a headless mode - I have plans to automate multiple
racks for live guitar use :) Time to revise my C++...
