Maybe I should just stick with sfz format and use linux sampler (haven't
tested it much yet, but expect it to work very well).
I know how to edit .sfz files, even wrote a batch converter in python.
But is there a nice GUI application available that will make those
quickly-throw-in-a-few-samples setups easier to create?
Look at synthclone, it's a cool app with a modular approach, both for obtaining
(loading/sampling) and editing multisamples, and
exporting them. A few output plugins exist (Hydrogen, SFZ, Renoise)
