New Release : horgand 1.0
News in v1.0 (19/06/2003)
-------------
-Added small auto-accompaniment, Looped Drums and a Bass line in
a wave table way.
-added chord recognition
-some free drum loops and bass samples.
-bugs solved in DSP effects, now more stereo, minus noises :-)
First i want to say something, personally i dont like any kind of
auto-accompaniment, sequences,
organs, because many people use it for work, and this is not good for the
musiciens. In fact i wonder the day when the musiciens dont want to record
anything, anymore. Only write the papers, and play live, that's music.
Please read the Readme file for how to add new loops and other questions.

I went in horgand-1.0 directory and type make.
Here is the output:
fluid -c HORGAN.fl
make: fluid : Commande introuvable
make: *** [all] Erreur 12
in english, make can't find the fluid command. Is it fluidsynth-related?

For information,, with Redhat 8.0, libsndfile-devel is needed (avalaible in Planet CCRMA
stuff).
Libfltk-devel is needed for morgan, too. By the way, with icewm, the fullscreen window can
be moved with alt+F7 and the arrows (800x600 case).

although you said in a previous post that you don't like auto-accompaniements, and
although you say that you are not a programmer, I think that your progs are very good. I
have not yet fully tested horgan and gmorgan, but I like them.
I play live music, but sometimes I find that a auto-accompaniement is useful to lay down
an idea for a new song.
And sometimes it's just fun and relaxing playing this way :)
