despite having just extended my set by a firewire device I still can strongly recommend the Lexicon Omega Studio USB, up to 4 Inputs for recording, thereof 2 with really good mic preamps, instrument in, Midi of course, digital in and out, really fine hardwaremixer... it's just to buy for around 160 Euro... works fine at my Laptop with 128fr/2p and kernel 2.6.26.6-rt11 best Susanne
