Rubber Band is an audio time-stretching and pitch-shifting library and
utility designed for musical applications.

It includes a library that supports a sample-accurate multithreaded
offline mode and a real-time lock-free streaming mode; a command-line
utility program; and a LADSPA pitch-shifter plugin. Version 1.2 is
faster in most situations, better sounding in many, and less
potentially subject to patent claims than version 1.0.1 was.
Rubber Band is Free Software under the GNU GPL.

to compile whit gcc 4.3, i must add "#include <cstdlib>" in
src/sysutils.cpp.

Gah! And I tested it with gcc-4.3 as well. I guess using the
gcc-snapshot in Ubuntu is not quite the same thing as using a
gcc-4.3-based system. Thanks for the report. Oh, how I despise
gcc-4.3 for refusing to compile any code I have ever written.
Well, I guess we might see a 1.2.1 release shortly then... but I have
a few other things to do first. Like put out a new release of Sonic
Visualiser that probably won't compile with gcc-4.3 either. La la la.

I don't think you can run away from it though. Just issue a sed from
toplevel dir to inject all known includes..and demand more RAM as well ;)
