Greetings,
So if I'm right it appears that I'll have to recompile the kernel for
V4L support. Am I correct to assume this ? And after I've done so, I
should be able to run the v4l software in the Debian and OpenSUSE repos,
yes ?
check your kernel config (in /boot/ directory).
my one has these lines in it:
CONFIG_VIDEO_DEV=m
CONFIG_VIDEO_V4L1=y
CONFIG_VIDEO_V4L1_COMPAT=y
CONFIG_VIDEO_V4L2=y
If you've used a webcam under one of the Linux rt
systems, please
advise, it would be most appreciated.
I've got a "hercules webcam deluxe" and had to compile
the ov51x-jpeg driver for it.
v4l version 2 is not supported by this driver currently.
