Hi, I installed Ubuntu 7.10 today. Everything works fine. But i cannot install the package Ardour by using package manager. The checkbox near it is disabled. Does anyone has any idea about it ? -- Arda EDEN Cumhuriyet University Faculty of Fine Arts Department of Music Technology Sivas/TURKEY

Have you opened all repositories? It isn't install anything because you use the command -s. If you don't do it it will install fine I guess... I don't know if there are more versions of ardour (apt-cache search ardour, or , aptitude search ardour)....

You can also install the package ubuntustudio audio or something like that, it will install a lot of interesting audio packages...
