Checking for zita-resampler >= 1.0
: version 1 not found, using ours
Is 'ours' version OK ?

Is it normal that guitarix is actually in a window. Eg. it does not
have a 'stand-alone' graphical interface like, say, xine has one. xine
doe snot show any window, only its own graphical UI. Should it be the
same with guitarix ?

Take a look at the screenshots on http://guitarix.org/ .
OT: IIRC in the past it was possible to edit a config file and to get a
GUI provided by the window manager's/desktop environment's theme,
instead of the guitarix themes. I wonder if it's possible to get it
nowadays too, since I prefer it that way.

"guitarix -c" doesn't solve the font size issue.
The window size issue is solved by disabling "Order Rack Horizontally".
