Please post these errors.
Maybe we can help fix them, or maybe you have found a genuine bug.
are there any repos available? does someone know?
Please Debian people, report bugs if you find something like this! We
shouldn't just accept that such audio apps are just not in Debian imo!
Well what gets packaged depends on who volunteers to become a Debian
maintainer and submit an ITP.
Submitting a bug is one way, another would be to read the packaging
documentation and build the package for it. Supercollider is, IIRC, a
pretty straightforward package that doesn't create any libs or daemons. If
there's already an unofficial package, then that's a start.
It does create one, and possibly two libs.
The main difficulty with packaging SC would be that the lang has to be
compiled 32bit, and it has quite a lot of dependencies on other libs, which
then would also be available for 32bit.
Of course, this is only a problem for the 64bit Debian, but I could imagine
that this poses a problem for it becoming officially part of Debian.
sincerely,
Marije
