greetings!
is anyone else having problems with steve harris' multiband eq plugin?
always, when using it, there are xruns on playback start and stop --
that i can deal with. but, occasionally (i suppose it's related to a
certain combination of settings, but i've not narrowed it down), it
starts a massive xrun cascade (into the tens of thousands in a few
seconds, continuing even after playback has stopped) and that blocks
playback --- i'm using it in ardour. when i remove the plugin and reload
the session, everything is fine.
i've got swh plugins v0.4.13-1, from the planet-ccrma repository.
is this something peculiar to me, or perhaps a bug?

ok, this is just wierd.
i've just had the same issue with a session which has the 10-band eq
from the CAPS plugin collection, rather than the swh multiband. again,
removing that plugin solves the problem.
is there common code between these two plugins, or is there something
about multiband eq plugins in general which is problematic?
note that i am running a bunch of TAP Equalizers (which are 8 bands
each) without issue.

Mine in particular will not work well if your running with low period
sizes its best around 256+ I think.

stream.
