[linux-audio-dev] jack: what does this mean ?

Hi. Well, you know I am a novice in everything related to linux & audio ;), but THIS: jackd: pcm.c:5959: snd_pcm_mmap_begin: Assertion `pcm && areas && offset && frames' failed. received signal 6 during shutdown (ignored) is an alsa-error, right ? I have a programm ( terminus, a space-simulation & rpg game [ the best ;) } ) , and it sleeps in the following function: --- rt_sigsuspend([] <unfinished ...> --- SIGRTMIN (Unknown signal 32) @ 0 (0) --- <... rt_sigsuspend resumed> ) = -1 EINTR (Interrupted system call) sigreturn() = ? (mask now [RTMIN]) ioctl(19, SNDCTL_DSP_GETBLKSIZE, 0xbffffbd0) = 0 read(19, --- ( this is a "strace"-output ) What is SNDCTL_DSP:GETBLKSIZE, or better what is the BLK ??
