does anyone know where to find a good collection of
ZynSubFx patches?

Is anyone using this patch and if so would they mind detailing
exactly what packages, and order of patching, is required ?

Hi,
From all accounts, it still seems that jack_fst seems to not work very
reliably with any other versions of Wine later than 20040505? I know
Mark had some work arounds for other wine vers. but not sure what gains
were made as a result?
I also remember Shayne having a later compiled version...like late Dec
2004 release and reporting many Vst's operable where I could not on
20040505?
I have had no real luck with DSSI but I have not applied a lot of effort
to find out why either...not diminishing dssi in any way.
Any miracle workers out there getting new things to happen with Wine and
the VST-hosts we have today?
Thanks
Russell
Hi Thomas,
How can I find out the firmware revision of my hdsp 9652?
lspci -vv says
00:0e.0 Multimedia audio controller: Xilinx Corporation RME Hammerfall
DSP (rev 68)
and /proc/asound/card0/hdsp has
Firmware version: 1
rme-audio.com says the latest firmware revision for the hdsp 9652 would
be 104. Is that relevant for exclusive linux use of the card?
Thanks, Wolfgang

I'll just put my hand up as someone who's at least interested in DSSI
(for what it's worth!):
I'd like to rewrite my academic research project (a genetic algorithm
type thing) as a DSSI host. If that comes together I'll write a couple
of synth plugins as well. Unfortunately the "real" research has to
continue whatever the software architecture, so time is limited.
It's great to hear that DSSI support is planned for Ardour (on
whatever timescale) and that VST work continues in one form or
another. I wish I had the time and especially the expertise to
contribute to one of those.
Hi,
I'm trying to get a RME Multiface working...
details:
2.6.11-7 kernel, freshly compiled from source
alsa-driver 1.0.9rc1
the snd_hdsp is loaded as a module, the firmware is not loaded (the
error led is still on).
pci_hotplug is enabled.
No difference whether I have the card in at boot-time or put it in later.
any suggestions would be welcome!
sincerely,
Marije
Hallo!
> Sounds like a pd problem; try the pd list.
I have tried it a while ago ... but the same problem is also with other
applications.
> If it's jack, then try the jack list.
I'll do so, thanks.
