hello all!
Sorry, but I tried searching for CDFS on google, but didn't find anything
helpful. Their original site in Belbium has gone.
I'm looking for CDFS for Linux kernel 2.6.30 or a likewise driver to mount
my audio CDs. I don't need photo or videocd, audio only. I would prefere a
module, that I can compile seperately. I don't like patching. It takes longer
to rebuilt the whole thing.
Any ideas, suggestions/ They would be VERY welcome! Ta!
Kindest regards
Julien

Greetings all,
I wanted to share with you my latest Linux-based and Linuxaudio.org-related
project that has been sucking up most of my time over the past year or so to
the point it seemed as if I have disappeared off the face of the Earth.
Needless to mention it continues to alter my sleeping/eating patterns with
unprecedented aptitude and with no end in sight ;-).

Hey everyone,
I'm having some issues with zyn/yoshimi on my EEE netbook. (this
problem applies to both synths.) when I attempt to use the patch
browser to call up a new patch, the application zombies (is that the
correct term?), and I cannot do anything else short of shutting down
the app and opening it again. this happens each and every time I try
to run either application.
funny thing is, this only happens on my netbook, which is running
xubuntu with the linux-rt kernel.
I don't know where to begin on troubleshooting this issue. I know I'm
not giving you near enough information to make suggestions. so, could
you give me some hints/tips on what I could do to troubleshoot?

We went through this with the UA-4fx last year and a patch was made and is
included in 2.6.28.
I'm not sure if it will help, but there is similar information here:

Are you talking about getting advanced mode working ? That would be
nice. Standard mode already works fine - I'm using it with an Acer
Aspire One running Ubuntu Netbook Remix 9.04 and it makes a very neat
portable recorder with Audacity.

I spoke with Luna, and it's ok with her. However the tune is not under
CC, and probably won't be anytime soon (I mentioned it briefly for her,
but since it involves a bit of paperwork ... not soon).
If you can air it without CC just go ahead, otherwise you'll have to
wait a while...
