i need to do something relatively simple, but i cant figure out how to do
it, or what software i need...
basically i have to play a certain song where i need to switch between
different sounds (say, a piano at the beginning using qsyinth and then a
synth created with zynaddsubfx). I want to be able to switch between one
setup to the other quickly, possibly using the program change from my
keyboard. How do i do that???
On my keyboard i can create different programs, each using different sounds
(patches) and switch between them with the click of a button. I want to use
that, but I want to generate the sounds with my computer.
I think I need a way to 'map' midi channels to different programs or midi
patches to specific programs (like, when i select piano on the keyboard
(patch0, bank0) it uses qsynth, and when i select a synth it uses
zynaddusbfx).
Any ideas?
Thank you very much,
Alessandro Preziosi

Hello everyone1
I'm trying my luck with Fons Adriaensons blvco oscillator LADSPA plugin and
have come up against more than one problem. I'm using it in csound and I can't
get anything but a steady tone at 440Hz. The only control which has wokred yet
is the octave control (control port 0).
So can anyone help me a little here? Has anyone probably used this plugin
with csound before? Or can someone give me a helpful hint or two about it?
I've tried for hours, but nothing going...
Kind regards
Julien

I've not been able to get it to work on certain files either
it compiled OK and I have a GUI when it launches but it doesn't always seem to work
is there any development happening on this wonmderful app?
also, thanks to whoever (can't remember) mentioned the Phasex synth the other day -- a little gem! :)
Hi
Today I receive a message from Bernardo Barros, he have ported the core
dsp code from the Guitarix Project to make SuperCollider plugins out of
each Guitarix effect/amp module.
May it is of some interest for SuperCollider users here.

sorry about that but Thunderbird 3 seems to behave differently than T2
when sending email to different recipients - the old one would know
which format gets applied to an email addy - this version seems to
default to html and sometimes I forget to switch it to plain text

Please be more specific. Is this a bug in jack_capture, or
are the problems caused by something else?
If it's a bug in jack_capture, I'm very interested to hear more about it.

jack_capture_gui2 is hardly maintained. I should probably remove it
from the jack_capture distribution.
