And while we are at it, why does everyone use these social media spy
portals for sharing personal information?
They are all funded by DARPA as part of the "Promise" program so that the
Military Industrial Complex can monitor our every move and undertake
targeted killings for anyone posting content they don't approve of.
Either that or they are just tracking everything we do on the web in the
guise of advertising and marketing. Didn't you know Google is basically
just the NSA anyway?

Hello everyone,
Here is a cover of an old song whose singer passed away today...
Sad coincidence, I was trying to play this song on my midi keyboard when I
heard he is gone...
mostly qtractor + whysynth
Trying to learn those two...
Comments, critics most welcome!
(The title translates to `Chaotic Milkyway')

In case you missed it in LAA and have any interest...
I am excited to announce the release of Mixer4 v 1.08 and Waveplayer
1.0.
Waveplayer is a lightweight (16 KB in size) console-based .wav player
using ALSA. It allows you to choose start and stop playback points,
and repeat playback or editing of those points.
Mixer4 is a text based audio mixer and processor which has been in
development for over a year. The current release includes integration
of the Waveplayer so that audio playback can initiate as soon as the
mixfile is built. Preview mode allows efficient processing of portions
of the mix at a time.
Recent work also includes 8 submixes with patchable effects, tempo and
meter mapping, and more user customizations.
Mixer4 packs a lot into 120 KB! The emphasis is on sound quality,
stability, and simplicity.
32 and 64 bit binaries are available here..

Please feel welcome to contact me for support and questions.
Best wishes,

Hello everyone!
I'm looking for a song. I'm almost sure, that I found it through this list,
quite some time ago (make that about 10-12 years). Though I usually keep
everything, that jewel of vulgar invention got lost.
The song was called "In the Bathroom" (I believe) and was sung to the
melodie of Downtown Petula Clark and I am pretty sure, that the singers first
name was John. Yes I know, the last info I could have kept to myself, since it
will be a huge help. :-)
anyone can remember it? Perhaps has it? It would be highly welcome. :-)
Best regards and sorry, if that was no Linux effort

Hello,
I want to share with you a 5 tracks demo I've worked on a few months ago.
http://soundcloud.com/jae-ho-youn/sets/demo-april-2012-3
It's all made in Linux, actually I've started to use Linux at the same time
working on these tracks.
I've used Supercollider 3.4 on Emacs with Jack and that's it. Oh, I've
converted my renders to mp3s using audacity.
It's rendered with internal sound card on my second-hand lenovo T61, as I
don't know how to get my firewire soundcard work on my machine.
But I think I don't need my sound card anyway with this kind of sounds. Let
me know if you're not agree...
I'm on Ubuntu 10.10.
Any feedback would be welcome.
thanks,
sincerely,
jae ho Youn

Hello everyone,
Looking for a soundcard and $subject seems to fit my requirements and
budget. I wonder whether it works on Linux. Matrix:Vendor-MAudio shows
some models but I couldn't find the model information on the site of the
seller. (A turkish site, buying from another country is not an option
for me) There are only some photos of the card. I'll be happy if any of
you can identify it and comment on its Linux support.

Should netjack slave and master be able to reconnect if one of them
disappears and then comes back? If the master goes away, the slave
seems to:
"master seems gone... entering freerun mode"
and then doesn't reconnect when the master reappears. Is there a way
to get the slave and master to automatically reconnect in a situation
like that?
