Hello ! The clean/drive amp sounds are interesting, the tube choice is fun. Then I add a graphic eq, it modifies the sound not nicely (adds distortion), I remove it, the sound remains modified. It is not back to the amp sound before adding the graphic eq. 'Sounds' like a bug :) Rotating the buttons with the mouse wheel can be tedious with some. Left clicking will move the window. Right clicking seems to only allow for minuet adjustments. This is guitarix from upstream, gotten a few days ago. Cheers.

[ANN] Vee One Suite 0.7.0 - Seventh beta release

Hi everyone, The 'Vee One Suite' of 'old-school' software instruments, aka. the 'gang of three' have gone through yet another milestone: synthv1 [1], as one polyphonic synthesizer, samplv1 [2], a polyphonic sampler and drumkv1 [3], as one drum-kit sampler, are now part of the Summer'15 release frenzy :) Still available in dual form: - a pure stand-alone JACK [4] client with JACK-session, NSM [5] (Non Session management) and both JACK MIDI and ALSA [6] MIDI input support; - a LV2 [7] instrument plug-in. Common change-log follows: - Complete rewrite of Qt4 vs. Qt5 configure builds. - Reset ramps after LV2 control port reconnection; small fixes to LV2.ttl (pull-requests by Hanspeter Portner aka. ventosus, on synthv1, thanks). - MIDI Controllers/Programs is now an optional feature on the LV2 plugin forms, as some LV2 hosts might enforce the purity restriction to input control ports as being absolutely read-only parameter values from a plugin's instance perspective. - MIDI Controller mapping/learn is now possible on all parameter control knobs; with global configuration also available on the Help/Configure dialog. - French (fr) translation line to desktop file added (by Olivier Humbert, thanks). Problem downloading guitarix

[LAA] XJackFreak released.

Hi everyone, I've just put XJackFreak up on github so you can try it out. XJackFreak is an GNU/Linux/X11 Jack Audio app that displays the FFT frequency spectrum. It can even do some EQ as well! Session Management, ALSA MIDI Ports

Hi, I have a few questions about Session Management in an Arch Linux system. I want to use seq24 to control hydrogen and yoshimi, which works fine. However, when I save the session (I tried qjackctl and Non Session Manager) and reload it the order of the ALSA MIDI ports gets mixed up. This leads to drum patters played via yoshimi instead of hydrogen, for example. A while ago I tried to install claudia from AUR but it depends on ladish, and that is not available (ladish.org is down). Is ladish dead? Interfacing an electric guitar

Hello all, Just got an electric guitar. First time. Now putting on a new set of strings. Got a 1/4" wire and a passive direct box that's already used for a Wavedrum. Got also a small guitar amp with an headphone out jack, as an option. The audio card is a M-Audio 1010LT. Can I simply take the 1/4" wire from the passive direct box and connect it to the guitar ? I believe there's a guitar processing app out there called something like rackarrack or such. Does this work through jackd as in doing the audio routing using qjackctl ? Alternatively if I want the amp's sound and processing, I can simply use the amp's headphone out, although I'd like to try the computer based only interface and processing. Cheers.

Running a JACK application with cron et al.

Hey hey everyone, is there a way to do it? I tried, but didnt get any sound. I suspect, that cron doesn't use the user, who defined the task to be run? My system is Debian Squeeze, my JACK is 0.121.3 . My scheduler is anacron version 2.3. JACK applications normally run just fine under my user. any hints and suggestions are welcome and appreciated!
