Hi
A new release of gxtuner is out.
It's a fast and lightweight guitar tuner with a analogue like window,
running with jack.
In this release we switched to use the latest pitch-tracker algorithm
from guitarix, which is more stable at the low end, and a lot lighter in
the CPU.
For better maintenance of the code, gxtuner is now hosted on github,
Check it out here:

Hi french translaters,
if you need some help please let me know

Is that this one: https://open-music-kontrollers.ch/chimaera/about/
That also looks like a really interesting instrument.
Thank you for your help.
All the best,
Thomas
This is an odt document that should help new users familiarise themselves
with Yoshimi, and runs through first-time startup along with basic controls.
It applies to V 1.4.0 + and can be found in:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/yoshimi/files/Doc
It is also in 'doc' in the normal install locations.

Say you have a poem and I have a tune.
Exchange them and we can both have a poem, a tune, and a song.
At the end of last year I actually had some time to just sit and play. I have a
two keyboard setup so had the lower one driving 'Ghost Ensemble' on CH1 and the
upper one with 'Angel Piano' on CH2.
After a bit of random pootling around I just hit on the first phrase of this
and just knew I had to do something with it. I always have Rosegarden set up
ready, so just hit record and ran with it... for about 4 minutes.
Later, I put it up on Soundcloud, with just the start and finish trimmed, and
titled Improv2. That's when the fun started. I just could *not* think of a
suitable title. I also thought I should tidy it up a bit, but apart from
removing one really duff note nothing else seemed to really need attention.
Looking through my photos I found one that seemed to fit the mood, and added it
to the Soundcloud file. This was of an abandoned trackway, that is about a
mile long and in some placed barely passable even on foot. Still I couldn't
think of a title.
Eventually it came to me quite out of the blue, so here it is fully formed :)

I had the pleasure of using my new Soundcraft Signature 22 MTK mixer to
do the live sound for a friend's band and used its multitrack USB output
to record the gig in Ardour. Later I pulled the session into MixBus and
tweezed it a bit, and I'm quite happy with the results, even in a rough mix:
