Does anyone know of software that can generate MIDI messages from a touchpad? [LAU] qjackctl system tray icon missing dependency on Debian

Hi list, for anyone wondering why qjackctl 0.9.9-1 on Debain stable (bookworm) does no longer display its icon in the systray after starting: The package libqt6svg6 is required but sadly not a dependecy of the qjackctl package. [LAU] Can't set CPU freuqency

I've been gifted an ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) G750JX laptop but am having a problem with it. It seem to ignore: sudo /usr/bin/cpufreq-set -r -g performance and instead always runs in ondemand mode. It has a base speed of supposedly 2.4G, but actually runs at 2.3 or less and very occasionally hits' 3.4G, just *after* Xruns. Yes, a bugfix release :( This was a weird one, so far it's only affected one person running on freeBSD - resulting in a crash at startup, hence this release. This is 100% Linux, and 100% sound made in Yoshimi. Composed in Rosegarden.
