Does anyone know of software that can generate MIDI messages from a touchpad?
The idea would be to send CCs to a sequencer or soft synth, but being able to
send it to an external hardware device would also be very useful.

Hi list,
for anyone wondering why qjackctl 0.9.9-1 on Debain stable (bookworm)
does no longer display its icon in the systray after starting: The
package libqt6svg6 is required but sadly not a dependecy of the qjackctl
package.
Rui, thank you for your amazing work, using your tools for more than a
decade now!
best, Peter
I've been gifted an ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) G750JX laptop but am having a
problem with it. It seem to ignore:
sudo /usr/bin/cpufreq-set -r -g performance
and instead always runs in ondemand mode.
It has a base speed of supposedly 2.4G, but actually runs at 2.3 or less and
very occasionally hits' 3.4G, just *after* Xruns.
There is nothing in the bios I can find regarding CPU frequency
Any suggestions?

Yes, a bugfix release :(
This was a weird one, so far it's only affected one person running on freeBSD -
resulting in a crash at startup, hence this release. Even if you're not seeing
any problems, it's probably best to update.

Someone just made me notice that this wasn't public, and indeed had
been published under the wrong namespace. The publicly available (and
now accessible) repo is here:

Sorry for the noise and confusion :-)
