it shows only one bank?
I go Instrument > Show banks, it shows me only a bank named "#42. yoshimi"
I go Instrument > Show instruments, it shows me a bank named "42.
yoshimi" - and that's it. Clicking arrow beside bank name does nothing.
Clicking Refresh banks changes nothing.
Oh, so now I have to select a bank, click Make Current, and then I can
see the banks?
Hmm, seems to me that it would be nice if there was a single "bank" that
listed everything. Finding an instrument now means first figuring out
which bank it might be in, making that bank the current one, then
looking through that bank hoping it contains the instrument I'm looking
for ...
I think the other way was less cumbersome.
Haven't time now to see what impact this might have one instruments in
my Rosegarden studio setup, will have to see how that works out.
Thanks for the update, still the neatest sound maker in the collection!

Maybe we could add a Search function - type in "Violin", hit Search, get list of all instrument names containing search phrase, regardless of "bank" number?

Greetings,
Is anyone here successfully running a parallel installation of Qt4 and
Qt5 ? I want to install the latest SuperCollider3 which now requires
Qt5. I'm on Fedora 19 with Planet CCRMA extensions, it's been happy with
Qt4, but now I need to consider installing Qt5. The question: Can I go
ahead and install Qt5 in parallel with the existing Qt4 ? If there are
known problems with Linux audio software perhaps someone is already
aware of them and can warn me before I take action.
I'm particularly wary of this kind of thing. I recently hosed an entire
system during a routine installation of components from the F19 repos -
yes, in certain circumstances Fedora will quietly let you destroy your
system without warning - and I'd like to avoid a repeat of that scenario.
Best,
dp
Is anyone familiar with Frankfurt Flughafen bahnhof?
I have to change trains there coming from Brussels then on to a regional train
to Mainz.
There is only a 15 minute difference between arrival and departure, so if at
all possible I'd like to get some idea in advance of where to go!
The return journey is much simpler through connections I know.

Hi,
io GNU/Linux 2015.01 has been released (32 and 64-bits).
io GNU/Linux is a Live DVD/USB based on Debian Sid and focused on multimedia.
This new version includes an installer (without support for EFI/GPT based
systems for now)
Kernel 3.16.7-ck7, Jack2 as default sound server, e18 as desktop environment
and a big collection of installed software... Full persistence for USB install
(with encryption) and more cool stuff...
For more infos: manual, packages list, screenshots, video etc... Check:

-> https://sourceforge.net/projects/io-gnu-linux/
Feedbacks welcome, enjoy :)
